Sizes and Uses:

Looking for a shading solution that fits your specific needs? Look no further than the GOSS Outdoor Orion Cassette Awning! It can be mounted easily, with four options for fabric and two frame colours. Plus, with motorised operation and remote control, you can adjust it with ease. The standard safety feature vibration wind sensor will protect your awning by detecting any movement caused by the wind.

Quality Materials & Design:

Aluminium (Cassette / Body) with Powder Coating – The product is made using Aluminium 6063, a highly extruded alloy that's widely used in architectural and structural applications. To give our awning a protective and decorative finish, we use powder coating. The combination of our chosen aluminium and powder coating offers a great balance between aesthetic appeal and functional performance. Our in-house designed aluminium parts for the awning provide the necessary structural strength, while the powder coating adds a long-lasting and customisable finish. 

Fabric – Our premium fabric is made from 100% solution-dyed branded acrylic and provides top-level functionality and outstanding UV protection. It resists colour fading and is built to withstand years of sun exposure without breaking down.

With our Sattler fabric and TEXgard technology, you can enjoy easy cleaning, high quality, and long-lasting protection for your awning fabric.

Our proprietary coating prevents water, humidity, and dirt from permeating the fabric, resulting in a self-cleaning effect. Dirt simply rolls down the surface.

Our fabrics block an impressive 98.75% of UV radiation, meeting the UV 80 standard. 

Electronics – We have handpicked the awning motors that provide versatile and adaptable solutions.

Our motors are equipped with an automatic shut-off feature that ensures a smooth closure of the cassette when it is fully retracted. Additionally, you can regulate the applied force to achieve the perfect closing of the cassette awnings and avoid the fabric from getting stretched beyond limits. With an electronic limit switch and a built-in receiver, our motors offer easy set-up and operation. Plus, they come with an integral radio receiver for added convenience.

The electronic systems (including sensors) we offer may either be SOMFY or CHERUBINI systems, depending on the availability of stock from the manufacturer at the time of sale.

Vibration Sensors:

The colour of the vibration sensor box may not match the colour of your awning. For example, a black sensor box may be installed on a white awning, or a white sensor box may be installed on an anthracite grey awning.

Your measurements will not be used as exact sizes for manufacturing. You will be contacted by GOSS Outdoor team member who will talk you through your requirements, and if needed, a professional surveyor will visit to conduct a site survey. 

GOSS Outdoor awnings are not designed to shelter you from rain. Using this awning in the rain could lead to damage of the awning and/or the mounting surface. 

An external IP65 rated 13 amp single socket or switched fused spur must be situated adjacent to the left hand side of our awning after installation. For further clarifications please refer to our Electrical Requirement Guidelines document.

Custom or Modified Product Returns & Refunds on ordering services and/or custom product(s) that cannot be cancelled once manufacturing has begun. Orders cannot be returned or refunded, except for warranty repair/replacements due to failure to meet the specification as agreed.

Please note, you will require your own electrical contractor to complete electrical connections. We will not install final electrical connections and will leave your system with hanging tail ends.
