In one of the most famous World Cup games ever, Diego Maradona netted his first goal only six minutes into the second half of the game by hitting the ball with his fist into the back of the net. It was a hand ball that was the game’s difference-maker. The referee didn’t see it and the goal stood. Maradona described his goal as “a little with the head of Maradona and a little with the hand of God.”
