Based in Cornas in the northern Rhone wine region of France, Jean-Luc Colombos vineyards use organic methods, and strive to preserve the existing flora and fauna surrounding the vineyards. Using no pesticides, a thick layer of organic materials covers the soil of certain plots giving ground cover. This limits erosion, and helps maintain microbial life and a satisfactory humidity level. In addition to this, it helps slow the growth of plants competing with the vine for the assimilation of water and nutrients.

Tasting notes:

This wine shows a seductive nose and small red fruits and spices. The mouth is supple with well integrated tannins.
