Château Margaux is one of the most celebrated estates in Bordeaux and was recognized as a Premier Cru (First Growth) in the 1855 classification. The property lies in the commune of Margaux in the Médoc and cultivates its vines on gravel-rich soils over clay and limestone, an environment particularly favorable for Cabernet Sauvignon. The estate produces several wines, including its Grand Vin and the second wine Pavillon Rouge.
