Family-run since 1840 in 1000 ha vineyards in the fertile Breede River Valley, the estate is one of South Africa's largest privately owned wine farms. Vineyards are planted in deep alluvial silt soils with river stone bedrock lying several metres below. Protected by the Du Toitskloof Mountains, summers are hot but moderated by cooling winds, while snowy winters ensure a delayed harvest that enhances grape flavour development.

A bright and expressive Chenin Blanc with juicy pear, crisp green apple, and a lift of citrus. The palate is soft and rounded, revealing delicate floral notes and hints of honey on the lingering finish.
