Product Details

Château Beau Sejour Becot is located on the western plateau of Saint-Emilion. Owned by the Becot family, the vineyards extend over 15ha, 10a, 10ca of land, with a clay-limestone soil. The average age of the vines being 33 years old, the varieties consist of 85% Merlot, 13% Cabernet Franc and 2% Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine was aged for 16 months, 55% new barrels, 20% in one wine barrels, 25% in amphoras and oak casks of 20hl.

Tasting Notes:

Medium to full-bodied with notes of wild berries and plums accompanied by subtle spices and aromas of a woody forest floor. Polished tannins end in a seamless yet long and mouthwatering finish.

Pairs well with beef, lamb, game and poultry.
