Located next to the Gironde River estuary, Château Ducru-Beaucaillou has been looked after by six families for 300 years. Composed with günzian gravel dating back to the Quaternary period, the soils are poor with plant nutrients, however their agrilogic paucity guarantees the qualitative excellence of the wines. This wine is a blend of 98% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Merlot Noir.

“A seductive smoked cedar, soot and campfire character, layers of sculpted dark fruits, and rose petal aromatics, this is well structured, softens in the mid palate to reveal creamy blackberry and raspberry fruit, with savoury salted crackers.
