The Ridgeway – HQC Range
The Ridgeway is the 3rd design in our premium range of buildings.
This design is a real statement building, featuring an L-shaped building, combining the beauty of the Theobalds design with a covered canopy area
Designed with the professional in mind, each of the building’s interior has been finished with plastered ceilings and walls, recessed electrical switches, Origin Global windows & Doors, 12mm engineered wooden flooring and a downlighting.
Footings, installation and full electrics package are included within the price.

Canopy & Decking Design
As the most dramatic model in the HQC Range, The Ridgeway features a bold 500mm Western Red Cedar canopy that accentuates its clean, linear design. The canopy incorporates recessed LED downlights, adding subtle illumination that highlights the contemporary profile of the building during the evening.
Immediately to the front of the building is a 500mm canopy and composite decking platform provides a smooth transition between interior and exterior spaces. This raised threshold offers a functional entrance to the room, while complementing the clean lines and contemporary style of the building.
An additional covered canopy and decking space, measuring 2m x 2m, projects out from the building acting as a space to entertain, dine or simply chill.
Both the canopy and the decking are finished in a beautiful powder-coated aluminium fascia profile, ensuring long-term performance and minimal maintenance while retaining their premium finish year after year.
Foundations
Every Outdoor Modular Spaces building is installed on a foundation system specifically chosen following a detailed site visit and assessment by our team. We take into account factors such as nearby trees and root systems, surrounding bushes or planting, site access, ground conditions, and any existing hardstanding or concrete base.
Based on this evaluation, we determine the most suitable foundation method to ensure the building’s stability, performance, and longevity. Options include:
- Galvanised ground screws (1250 mm) – a modern, eco-conscious alternative to concrete foundations. Ground screws can be installed with minimal soil disturbance, making them ideal for use near trees and root systems. They eliminate the need for excavation or wet trades, reducing both installation time and carbon footprint.
- Concrete pads – a traditional, durable solution suited to level and easily accessible ground.
- Reinforced concrete raft – a premium foundation providing maximum stability and load distribution on challenging or uneven terrain.
Our approach ensures every OMS building is supported by the most appropriate and environmentally responsible foundation system for the site — combining long-term strength with minimal environmental impact.
