Le Bois Roussot is an east-facing Premier Cru, next to Corton. The light, calcareous soil produces a wine which is light and full of plump ripe fruits. Tannic structure is light so the wine is ready for early drinking after 12 months in barrel.
2017 was a fine vintage and the fruit is beautifully concentrated.

Ladoix is a great example of a lesser-well known village making wines of increasingly high quality. In the supercharged world of Burgundy, wines like this offer good value for money.
