From vineyards planted on the old Penola Cricket Ground, South Coonawarra, this wine is dark red in colour with an aromatic nose of blackberry and blue fruits with refined hints of bay leaves and mint. A great line of acidity drives through the wine supporting ripe tannins with flavours of blackberry and mulberry shining through from the medium bodied composition.

This wine displays harmonious balance and can be enjoyed now or will reward cellaring for 5 years.
