Terms & Conditions
1. Local telephone charges may apply. Telephone numbers and hours of operation may vary and are subject to change. Technical Support Coverage gives access to technical advice for which a customer may otherwise be charged a fee.
2. Coverage starts from the date you purchase an AppleCare+ policy. This means that if you purchase AppleCare+ up to 60 days after you purchase your iPhone, you will only receive AppleCare+ Hardware Coverage from that date. Your Technical Support Coverage starts on expiry of your 90 days of complimentary technical support cover provided by Apple, which starts on the date you purchase your iPhone.
3. AppleCare+ products are available only for iPhone and its original included accessories. Both AppleCare+ products provide protection against (i) batteries that retain less than 80% of their original capacity, and (ii) unlimited incidents of accidental damage. AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss also provides coverage for up to two incidents of theft or loss every 12 months. Each incident is subject to an excess fee of £25 for a screen replacement or back glass damage, £79 for other accidental damage, or £109 for theft or loss. The back glass damage excess fee is only available for iPhone 12, iPhone 13, iPhone 14, iPhone 15 and iPhone 16 models. Any unused theft and loss incidents will expire after 12 months and you will get two more theft and loss incidents to use within the next 12 months of continued coverage. Express Replacement Service is not available under the screen replacement or back glass damage excess fee. Replacement equipment that Apple provides as part of the repair or replacement service may contain new or previously used genuine Apple parts that have been tested and pass Apple functional requirements. 4. Theft and loss coverage requires you to have Find My iPhone enabled on your device at the time it is lost or stolen. Find My iPhone should remain enabled and your iPhone should remain associated with your Apple ID throughout the theft or loss claims process. During the theft or loss claims process, you will be asked to erase your missing device, disable it and transfer ownership before you can be issued a new device.
To ensure that you can sign in and access Find My iPhone, it’s important to remember your Apple ID and password and keep your account information up to date. If you use two-factor authentication for Apple ID, it’s recommended that you add an additional trusted phone number to your account so that you can receive the six-digit verification code required to sign in even if your iPhone is missing.
After initiating your theft or loss claim with Apple, you will be asked to finalise your claim on AIG’s website at www.aigtheftandloss.uk.
5. Same-day service availability and options may vary by region and iPhone model. For international service, Apple may repair or replace your iPhone and iPhone parts with a comparable iPhone model or parts that comply with local standards. Same-day replacement is not available for theft/loss claims. Service coverage is subject to the Terms and Conditions of AppleCare+ or AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss. International replacement of lost or stolen devices is subject to availability and options may vary by region and iPhone model.
