Goichot Freres Saint Romain 2022, 75cl

Located at the foot of a high cliff in Cote de Beaune, Saint-Romain looks out over a wide stretch of countryside. On a sloping site, the vineyards have excellent soils composed of limestones and marls including patches of clay. This wine is 100% Chardonnay and underwent traditional fermentation on lees in an oak barrel of 400L for 10 months with 10% new oak.

Tasting Notes:

Aromas of lime and white flowers on the nose with mineral grace notes. The mouth has good minerality which mellows and smooths out to the finish.

Serving Suggestions:

Best served between 11 - 13℃. 

Pairs well with fried or steamed fish, soft centred cheeses, and marinated vegetable dishes.

This wine has the potential to age for 5-15 years.
