With considerable growth coming from new vineyards, the Les Hautes Côtes estate is spread across 12.5 hectares of land. The estate is one of the undoubted superstars of the region. Sébastien took over the family estate in 2011 and has even exceeded the stellar success of his father, Sylvain. The estate now operates on biodynamic principles for all the wines, leaving them all in barrel over two winters.

The vineyard ‘Aux Thorey’ lies at a higher location on the slope overlooking Nuits St Georges, and it is this location that influences the tighter, more mineral flavours of the wine.

Tasting Notes:

Weighty and concentrated, the 2021 vintage is very impressive. Aux Thorey is a wine that is firm in structure and beautifully poised. With an enchanting perfume this wine has a great texture, and plenty of depth
