The vineyard called Champonnets is always one of the most robust in style and rich in flavour of the Gevrey Chambertin Premier Crus. For this reason, it is a slower wine to evolve, and ideally needs a few years in bottle.

The wine has dense and deep fruit notes to balance the powerful structure.
