At Ten Minutes By Tractor, the aim is to produce wines that reflect the unique and diverse characteristics of the region.
The Mornington Peninsula Wine region stretches from the lower flatter areas in the north up to the rolling hills and valleys that dominate Red Hill, Main Ridge and the highest point on the Peninsula: Arthurs Seat, at 315M above sea level. The differences, in what the local vignerons refer to as ‘up the hill’ and ‘down the hill’, in elevation, aspect, temperature, rainfall and soils can result in significant differences in harvest dates and ultimately the wines that are produced.
Tasting Notes:
Peppery aromas, with notes of red fruit, such as strawberry and red cherry on the palate and subtle hints of oak. A dry, smooth wine that is nicely balanced.
Pairing Suggestions:
Pairs well with beef, veal and game dishes
