Owned by the J-M Cazes Family, Chateau Ormes De Pez stretches across a surface area of 40 hectares. With a terroir of garonne gravel, the grapes were hand-picked and sorted at the vineyard. A blend of 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 50% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot, this wine was aged for 16 months in French oak barrels (45% new).

Tasting Notes:

A crimson hued garnet red. This wine is elegant and refined, floral aromas on the nose developing notes of blackcurrant and liquorice root on aeration. A complex array of flavours in which ripe fruit is set off by notes of violet and toasted cereal. Creamy tannins and a minty finish which lingers of notes of chocolate.
