Owned by Denise and Stephen Adamsm Chateau Fonlegades vineyards stretch across 45 acres on a plateau of limestone and downhill of clay and limestone. With an average vine age of 30 years, this wine is a blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. It was vatted for 30 days and aged for 16 to 18 months in 50% new French oak barrels, 30% one year barrels, 10% cement eggs and 10% amphora.
