Hennessy XO is a powerful and elegant cognac. Aged in young barrels, the cognac has structured nuances, dominated by the richness of oak and black pepper aromas and has capacity to achieve a great roundness through time
Tasting Notes:
Intense in colour, the first wave of aromas express rich dried fruits such as prunes and dried figs. These evolve into more dense notes of chocolate and black pepper, mellowed by cinnamon, clove and cardamom. Distinct fragrances of crystallized fruit, oak, spices, and emanations of old leather can be noticed.
On the palate the cognac is elegant and robust, revealing balance, roundness, and harmony, underlined by the strength of peppery notes, and vegetable fragrances from the oak. A lovely long after taste with sweet notes of cinnamon and vanilla.
