Kweichow Moutai Flying Fairy Baijiu, 50cl

Kweichow Moutai is the best and most famous liquor in China, most frequently offered at diplomatic and other important national occasions. It is also one of the world's top 3 distilled wines, together with Scotch Whisky and French Cognac. 

Baiju is a Chinese spirit which is traditionally drunk in a series of toasts before a celebratory meal. With a unique flavour, this clear alcohol plays a key role in Chinese culture. Different bottles and distilleries have unique brewing techniques, creating a variety of different Baiju.   

Tasting Notes: 

Smooth with a soft and mellow taste and a long-lasting aftertaste. Rich soy sauce notes with fresh fruits such as pear and papaya. Hints of smoked nuts, sesame seeds, coffee beans and cacao intertwine with the floral notes of white flowers, garden herbs and cooked tropical fruits.
