Virgin Experience Days Three Hour Oriental Cookery Class at the School of Wok For One Person

This is your chance to join a fun and informative Three Hour Oriental Cookery Class run by TV chef Jeremy Pang and his team of specialist chefs at the School of Wok in Covent Garden. You’ll learn some fantastic new skills and enjoy great-tasting food cooked to perfection by you and up to 11 other students in this friendly workshop setting.

Choose from 10 amazing 3 hour courses including: Intro to Thai Cuisine, Introduction to Vietnamese Cooking and Japanese Home Cooking, and learn the secrets to preparing authentic and delicious oriental food perfect for recreating at home.  After the learning comes the eating, so look forward to enjoying the results of your hard work as it’s served to you at the School of Wok dining table along with a glass of wine. A great opportunity for aspiring chefs of any ability, and a lovely way to discover the authentic flavours and character of top notch Oriental cuisine.

What happens on the day?

You may choose from a choice of 10 deliciously different classes:

On arrival at the School of Wok you’ll be welcomed with a complimentary drink and shown to your chosen cookery class. You’ll enjoy 2 hours 30 minutes of expert cooking instruction in a friendly setting and learn new skills and preparation techniques as you and the rest of the class work together to produce a delicious meal. The remaining 30 minutes of your experience are dedicated to enjoying the fruits of your labours, so enjoy a glass of wine with your dinner as you savour the fantastic meal you’ve created.

Availability

This experience is available on selected Wednesdays from18.30, Fridays from 18.00, Saturdays from 11.00 or 15.00.

We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.

You should allow approximately 3 hours for the whole experience.

What should I wear?

You should wear flat soled closed in shoes. An apron will be provided for your use during the class.

What about insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
