Mutti San Marzano Peeled Tomatoes are grown in Italy and are bright red in colour with a dense texture. The variety originates from the small town of San Marzano sul Sarno near Naples, in volcanic soil of Agro Sarnese Nocerino, in the shadow of Mount Vesuvius. The tomatoes are pointed with a thick flesh, fewer seeds and a sweet taste, covered with a smooth sauce to preserve freshness, ideally used for an authentic Neapolitan Pizza.
