The Herb Fed Christmas Rooster is a very special chicken only produced once a year especially for Christmas Day.
Like all Herb Fed Turkeys, the Christmas Rooster is free to roam day and night through the acres of unfenced pasture in North Yorkshire, they can be found foraging in the field, feeding on the freshly cut herbs that supplement their diet. It is this unique diet combined with the slow rearing methods, which imparts the all-important depth and flavour that you are guaranteed with your Herb Feb bird.
The Rooster offers a classic alternative to a Herb Fed Free Range Bronze Turkey and because they are smaller, they can be the perfect ‘bird with taste’ for a festive family meal.
This 4kg - 4.5kg minimum weight bird will feed between 10-12 people and will fit in a conventional oven.
