Francesco Peroni established his first brewery in Vigevano in 1846 and went from strength to strength, and today Peroni drinks are savoured in more than 70 countries worldwide.

Peroni Red is often regarded as Italy’s favourite and most widely consumed beer. Peroni Red is darker and fuller bodied than the more well-known Peroni Nastro Azzuro.

Pronounced malt and zesty hop flavours that pair with slight fruit notes and a mild bitter finish.

Pairing Notes:

Pairs well with strong, salty cheese and does well with pasta dishes with oil or light tomato based sauce.
