Châteauneuf-du-Pape is known for its Grenache based red blends. Sitting towards the bottom of the Rhône Valley, close to the border of Provence, this region produces powerful, full bodied wines.

Tasting Notes:

Complex nose of pepper, cloves, liquorice, raspberries and blackberris with thyme and laurel aromas. With long ageing, develops notes of truffle, dried olives and leather. Fresh and rich in the mouth with mellow and chalky tannins. Pairs well with steak.
