Castello di Meleto Chianti Classico Riserva is a high-quality red wine from the Chianti Classico DOCG (Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita) region in Tuscany, Italy. The Chianti Classico zone, located between Florence and Siena, is known for producing some of the best and most recognizable wines in Italy, often made from the Sangiovese grape, which forms the backbone of most Chianti wines.

Tasting Notes:

Aromatic and complex bouquet with rich notes of ripe cherries, plums and blackberries. There is an element of spice, with hints of black pepper, cloves and cinnamon. The oakiness is embedded with vanilla notes, a smoky character and earthy undertones. It is medium to full-bodied with a well balanced structure, a fruity palate and rich tannins in a silky texture and a long finish.

Serving Suggestions:

Pairs well with mature cheeses, grilled meats and pasta dishes.
