Product Details

Comprising three main locations, the vineyard of Château Lafite Rothschild spans a surface area of 112 hectares of well drained, gravel and sandy limestone soil. Aged in new Oak barrels, each one is tasted individually and only the best make the final blend.

Tasting Notes:

“One of the more concentrated Carruades, with the highest percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon to date, packed with powerful dark plum and blackcurrant fruits, pencil lead and slate. Knitted down, sculpted tannins, there is austerity even rigidity to the structure, but it has laid on weight and depth over ageing.
