Ice wine is a type of dessert wine produced from grapes that have frozen while on the vine. A pioneer in the Canadian wine industry, Inniskillin was Canada's first winery to receive the winery licence since the prohibition in 1929. Renowned for its award winning wines, Inniskillin gained status when the Vidal Icewine was awarded the highest Grand Prix d'Honneur.
