The Silverstone Interactive Museum is an immersive visitor attraction which celebrates the past, present and future of Silverstone and British motor racing. Over 60 hands-on exhibits give visitors the opportunity to try a variety of activities. From operating a wind tunnel to taking part in a pit stop to climbing into a replica Grand Prix car.
In addition to the hands-on fun, the museum features some of the most iconic cars and bikes that have played a part in the 70-year history of Silverstone including Mansell’s iconic “Red 5”, an E.R.A from the first ever Grand Prix and Barry Sheene’s 1979 Suzuki motorbike.
A thrilling immersive film show – the ultimate lap of Silverstone – brings together some of the circuit’s most famous racing moments and is the perfect way to round off each visit.

What happens on the day?
On arrival you’ll be welcomed and shown through to the beginning of The Silverstone Interactive Museum. There is a full procedure to ensure that our guests safety comes first, including regular cleaning, one way systems & individually stylus’s for each guest so that you can enjoy the touch screens safely.
This new attraction offers the chance to experience the history of Silverstone and British motor racing like never before. With state-of-the-art technology, interactive displays and iconic cars to see, there’s something to appeal to everyone.
Your experience will culminate in an unforgettable immersive show. Experience what it’s like to be amongst the fast and the furious with a ‘lap’ around Silverstone, surrounded by iconic cars and motor racing heroes. A real adventure, it’s the perfect way to end a brilliant outing on a buzz.

Availability
The experience is available seven days a week until September. Please check the website for winter opening times from September onwards. Please know some date restrictions may apply.
What should I wear?
It is a walking attraction so sensible shoes advisable.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
