With a high-tech carbon fibre style finish, the Bresser Solarix 114/500 reflector telescope is great for taking images. Complete with all the accessories required for sky-gazing, this versatile performer will provide hours of entertainment for all age ranges that share the same interest in telescopes. Unlike most telescopes, you can not only see the stars at night, but you can also observe the sun during the day as well, which makes it even more fun to use.
Observing the sun using a telescope would normally be very dangerous, however the Bresser Solarix reflector telescope has a high-tech filter which contains a special foil. The foil protects the eye from all kinds of solar radiation during observations including infrared ultraviolet and visible light, all of which are dampened to a safe level. The safety integrity of this filter system has been checked independently by a major quality assurance company.
The Bresser Solarix telescope arrives almost completely assembled and you can be watching the stars or looking at the sun within just a few minutes of opening the kit. The 114 mm objective mirror in the Bresser Solarix telescope has amazing light gathering power and it is possible to record images on a smartphone by using the special adapter that comes with the kit. This Newtonian telescope comes supplied with a tripod and azimutal mount for instant use and the kit includes a range of eyepieces and 2 Barlow lenses giving magnification range from 20x to 111x.

Solar Warning: Never look directly at the sun with the naked eye or with an optic (unless you have the correct solar filter). Permanent and irreversible eye damage may result of this. Never use your optic to project an image of the sun onto any surface. Internal heat build-up can damage the optic and any accessories attached to it. Never leave your optic unsupervised and make sure an adult who is familiar with the correct operating procedures is with your optic at all times, especially when children are present.
