Virgin Experience Days Create Your Own Harris Tweed Handbag For Two In Covent Garden

Create something you can wear for years to come with the Create Your Own Harris Tweed Handbag for Two at the Covent Garden Islander Workshop, London. During this experience, both of you will design your very own Islander Handbags by selecting the body colour of the bag, choosing your favourite Harris Tweed® cloth lid, bag strap and accessories. You get to be as creative or safe as you want, and once you’ve selected your different components, you will begin to construct your bag with a set of tools all ready for you.

After your bags are finished, you can show off your very own creations outside the Islander Workshop. The workshop class will last for approximately 90 minutes, and extra components are available to purchase during the workshop to take home should you wish to switch up your bag.

Islander creates social impact by preserving and celebrating the Outer Hebrides’ Harris Tweed heritage through traditional craft, while also supporting family-focused social causes through partnerships such as its Barnardo’s workshop experience.
