Process

1. Consultation & Measurement

Every project begins with a detailed consultation. Our team will visit your home to take precise measurements of your space, discuss design options, and confirm any special requirements such as cut-outs for sinks, hobs, or splashbacks.

2. Template Creation

Using your measurements, we create a physical or digital template of your product area. This ensures that the quartz or marble is cut to fit perfectly, with millimetre accuracy.

3. Fabrication

Your chosen quartz or marble slab is then cut, shaped, and polished in our workshop. We use specialist equipment to achieve a flawless finish and prepare all the necessary edges, joints, and cut-outs.

4. Preparation at Home

Before installation day, it’s important that your base units or cabinets are level and securely fixed. Our team can guide you on how best to prepare your space, so everything is ready for a seamless fit.

5. Professional Installation

On the day, our skilled installers carefully position each piece of quartz or marble, making sure the joins are tight and almost invisible. Once everything is secure, we seal the surfaces for extra durability.

6. The Finishing Touches

We clean and polish the quartz or marble so it’s ready to use straight away. Our team will also give you advice on how to look after your finished peice, so it stays as beautiful as the day it was installed.
 

Marble
 

• The standard marble slab finish is polished or honed. Other available finishes are sandblasted, flamed and leather. Polishing intensifies the colours present in the marble, while sandblasting can result a dull appearance.
   
• Marble shower trays must be sandblasted due to safety reasons. Please note that dark grey or black marbles will look lighter in colour when sandblasted or flamed.
   
• Marble slabs are available in 20mm or 30mm thickness. Recommended thickness for marble kitchen worktops, splashbacks and upstands is 20mm. Thicker marble worktops require adequate support and will cost more than the 20mm version.
   
• To avoid unnecessary load on joinery, the edge of the marble worksurface can be built-up to create a thicker appearance. 20mm marble worktops and bathroom vanity tops with built-up edges can have intricate profiles. Please state the desired edge profile during the quotation process.
