Earthwool Loft Roll is a flexible low-density glass mineral wool quilt which is lightweight, resilient and non-combustible. It has thermal conductivity of 0.044W/mK fire and is classified as Euroclass A1 to BS EN 13501-1. The wool is odourless, rot-proof, non-hygroscopic, does not sustain vermin and will not encourage the growth of fungi, mould or bacteria.

The mineral wool insulation is installed in a number of layers with the first layer being laid between ceiling joists, and subsequent layers being laid at right angles to the ceiling joists, with all edges butt jointed together, and allowing for ventilated eaves to allow moisture to escape.

Loft Insulation Protection is also a key strategy for decarbonising our homes in Britain. Not only does protecting insulation ensure it retains its effectiveness over time, leading to consistent carbon savings. This means it helps to lower energy bills as well as boosting energy security.
