Principles of Nasal Irrigation: Nasal irrigation involves flushing the nasal passages with a saline solution. By washing away excess mucus as well as allergens, bacteria and viruses nasal irrigation can reduce inflammation and relieve congestion, runny nose and post-nasal drip. It has also been found to reduce infection and decrease the need for sinus medications. NeilMed® SINUS RINSE® is an easy-squeeze bottle system that allows you to deliver the saline solution with positive pressure to clean the nasal passages thoroughly while maintaining your head in an upright position. You have complete control of the pressure and volume of solution, ensuring a gentle and soothing experience. Daily rinsing is safe and will keep your nasal passages clean, healthy and open.

Warning: DO NOT USE TAP WATER UNLESS STERILIZED BY BOILING
• For your safety, do not use tap or faucet water unless it has been previously boiled for five or more minutes, as boiling sterilizes the water. Other choices are distilled, micro-filtered (through 0.2 micron), reverse osmosis filtered, or commercially bottled water. Always use water at lukewarm or body temperature.
• Each device must be used only by one user; do not share this product with others.
• Follow the cleaning protocol after each use of the product. Cleaning instructions can be found in the enclosed brochure.
• Replace this device within three months of your first use.
•Rinse and blow your nose gently.
•This product is intended to be used only for nasal irrigation. Do not use it for any other purpose.
•Please use this product at least one hour prior to sleeping to avoid solution dripping down the throat while sleeping.
•To avoid ear discomfort, do not use this product if you have blocked ears or an ear infection. While rinsing, keep your mouth open, do not hold your breath, squeeze the bottle to empty ¼ at a time, keep your head upright, and be sure to blow your nose gently. Stop rinsing immediately if you feel any solution or pressure near your ears. If you have had ear surgery in the past, consult your physician prior to using this product.
•You may use this product if your nasal passage is partially blocked, but do not use this product if your nasal passage is completely blocked. If you feel burning in the nasal passages, immediately stop using it and consult your physician. If you have had sinus surgery in the past, consult your physician prior to use of this product.
•Those who have weak comprehension, are severely debilitated, or cannot stand up or bend near a sink should not use this product.
•Adults need to understand use of this product before using it on their children. We recommend that children under the age of four do not use this product without consultation of a physician. Children must be able to comprehend this product’s instructions prior to using it.
•Keep this product out of reach of children and store in a cool and dry place. THE CONTENTS OF THIS PACKAGE MAY BE FLAMMABLE AND EXPLODE IF HEATED.
