Stacked high with a variety of high-quality British cheeses, the Dorchester Cheese Celebration Cake is the perfect centrepiece for any event, and is a delicious alternative to a traditional wedding cake or cheese board. This impressive tower of different cheeses would also make a real spectacle at your wedding breakfast!

The Dorchester comprises a total of six layers of award-winning Ford Farm Cheeses. The base layer is Ford Farm's signature Wookey Hole Cave Aged Cheddar, matured 200 feet underground in the Wookey Hole Caves, followed by a layer of tangy Sage Derby, our award-winning Wensleydale with Cranberries, Oakwood Smoked - a traditional West Country Farmhouse Cheddar cold-smoked over oak chips for a long, lingering flavour and a hand-made Double Gloucester. The icing on the cake is a mature cheddar heart, preserved for freshness in a smooth, burgundy wax coating. This cheese celebration cake looks beautiful decorated with a gentle mix of delicate flowers and fruit.

The cheese layers (from top to bottom tier) include:

• Mature Cheddar Heart 200g, D 8.1cm x H 4cm
• Double Gloucester 400g, D 10cm x H 4.5cm
• Oakwood Smoked 2kg, D 15.7cm x H 9.5cm
• Wensleydale with Cranberries 2.4kg, D 24cm x H 6.5cm
• Sage Derby 4kg, D 24.5cm x H 7.5cm
• Cave Aged Cheddar Round 6.75kg, D 34.5cm x H 6.5cm  

• Serving: Serves 500 portions based off a 30g serving
• Total weight: 15kg minimum weight

Storage Information: Refrigerate cheeses until needed, then unwrap, assemble and decorate accordingly*. All components of this cake will have at least 21 days life. However, shelf life can be significantly reduced when cut into and left unrefrigerated.
