The Gorilla Base Pro D is a bespoke engineered foundation system that is tailor made for the Thetford 4.5m x 3.0m offering a swift, professionally installed base for your Log Cabin avoiding the upheaval and mess created when installing a concrete base.

Thanks to our groundbreaking Gorilla Base technology, you can bid farewell to the inconvenience and time-consuming nature of traditional concrete foundations. The installation process is not only straightforward but also remarkably swift. In fact, most bases can be completed in just a single day.

By raising your garden building above ground level, Gorilla Base allows air to circulate beneath the floor and helps keep the structure clear of damp, standing water and moisture. This reduces the risk of timber deterioration and helps protect your building for years to come.

Every Gorilla Base is individually designed and manufactured to suit your building and installation site. The system combines professionally installed ground screws with a bespoke framework made from 150mm x 50mm pressure-treated TR26 structural timber.

Once your order has been placed, our team will be in touch to gather the required information through a customer questionnaire, site photographs and desktop studies. We will then determine the most suitable ground screw lengths, quantities and locations for your project.

Ground screw specifications vary depending on factors including soil type, ground composition, building weight, site levels and loading requirements. Screw lengths will typically range from 600mm to 2000mm, depending on the conditions and requirements of the installation.
