The Wood’s Cortina XL WiFi is a powerful portable inverter air conditioner designed for large living rooms, open-plan spaces and offices. With a cooling capacity of 18,000 BTU, equivalent to 5,000 W, it effectively cools rooms up to 53 m². Its inverter technology adjusts performance to maintain a more even indoor temperature while supporting efficient operation. The Cortina XL WiFi can be controlled using its touch panel, the included remote control or remotely through the Wood’s Connect app.

Come Home to a Comfortable Temperature with WiFi Control
The built-in WiFi function allows you to control the Cortina XL remotely through the Wood’s Connect app. You can switch the air conditioner on and adjust its settings before arriving home or entering the room. Pre-cooling is particularly useful during hot weather because walls, furniture and other surfaces can retain heat after the room air begins to cool.

Cools Rooms up to 53 m²
The Wood’s Cortina XL WiFi has a cooling capacity of 18,000 BTU, equivalent to 5.0 kW, making it suitable for rooms up to 53 m². With three fan speeds and an airflow of up to 480 m³/h, it circulates cooled air throughout larger rooms, offices and open-plan areas. For the best cooling performance, keep doors and windows closed and use the supplied window kit to minimise warm air entering around the exhaust opening.

Quiet Inverter Cooling
Despite its high cooling capacity, the Cortina XL WiFi operates at a sound level of 48–53 dB, depending on the selected setting. Inverter technology allows the unit to adjust its cooling output rather than repeatedly operating only at full power. This helps maintain a more stable room temperature and supports quieter, more efficient operation.

Energy-Efficient Cooling
The Wood’s Cortina XL WiFi has an energy efficiency class A rating and an EER of 2.86. Its power consumption in cooling mode is 1,750 W. The unit uses R290 refrigerant, which has a lower environmental impact than many older refrigerants.

Cooling and Dehumidification
As well as cooling the room, the Cortina XL WiFi can remove up to 70 litres of moisture from the air per 24 hours under specified test conditions. Reducing excess humidity can make the room feel more comfortable during warm and humid weather.
