Domaine Sylvain Cathiard et Fils Vosne-Romanée is primarily sourced from dedicated parcels located within the heart of the Vosne-Romanée appellation, comprising five parcels across four distinct lieux-dits: Champs Goudins, La Pré de la Folie, Les Chalandins, and Aux Ormes. This 2023 vintage is a blend of 100% Pinot Noir. The estate is managed with organic practices (though not certified), and this vintage was crafted following the same meticulous care as the domaine's Premier and Grand Crus, featuring 100% de-stemmed fruit and indigenous yeast fermentation. It was aged in French oak barrels (approximately 50% new) for 15 to 18 months to achieve the hallmark silky texture and aromatic complexity of the estate.

"Exquisite aromas of redcurrant, raspberry and rose petals with a hint of crushed stone follow through to a medium body and a solid palate with powerful, ultrafine and linear tannins. The muscle and long finish are so beautiful. The 2023 is an especially poised Vosne endowed with tons of richness as well as structure... Red/purplish fruit, lavender, graphite, sage and a touch of spice build into the substantial finish.
