The End of Second World War Collectable Stamp Souvenir features 8 evocative photographs showing the relief and jubilation that came after the formal end of the Second World Ward in 1945. For the first time, the original black and white photos have been reproduced in colour. The stamps are displayed on an envelope with a SW1 postcode. SW1 postcode was chosen as a reference to Buckingham Palace, where the iconic balcony VE day picture was taken as well as Downing street where Winston Churchhill delivered the radio broadcast announcing the end of the Second World War.
