Membership

If you have any queries regarding your Costco membership, please contact the Membership Department on 01923 830477.

To purchase your membership online, please follow these steps:

  1. Browse your membership options here. You can choose from Executive Membership, Trade Membership, Individual Membership or Online Annual subscription.
  2. On your selected membership page, click "Add to Cart." This will direct you to the "Member Privileges and Conditions" page.
  3. To continue, select "I Agree to all Terms of use..." checkbox at the top of your page. Complete the Membership Application on the next page. The application will require you to enter the Primary Cardholder and optional Household Cardholder's personal information.
  4. Select "Save and Continue." This adds the membership to your shopping cart.
  5. Go to your Shopping Cart and select "Checkout." If you aren't logged in to Costco.co.uk, you'll be directed to the "Login" page, where you'll enter your email address and password. If you didn't previously register, click "Register for an online account" and enter your information to continue.
  6. On the Shipping page, enter or choose a shipping address.
  7. Select "Continue to Payment."
  8. On the Payment page, complete the required fields with the payment method of your choice and enter or choose your billing address. Select "Continue to Review Order" to review your order before you pay for it. Confirm that all the info on the "Review Order" page is correct and complete your order.
  9. After completing your purchase you'll receive an email with your new membership number. Please note, membership cards will NOT be mailed to you.
  10. You can obtain your new membership cards by visiting the membership counter of your local Costco.

Please be advised that registering to shop online at Costco.co.uk is not an application for membership. Non members cannot order products from our website as well as initiate a return.

Renewing your membership online is as simple as signing in, heading to "My Account," and selecting "Renew Membership."

Please keep in mind that active memberships can only be renewed 90 days prior to the expiration date.

If your membership is expired or inactive, you can renew online within 90 days after the date of expiration, or any time in person at your local warehouse.

If you need to shop at a Costco warehouse immediately, please know that the easiest way for you to do so is by simply renewing your membership at the register during checkout.

Please note that "Online Subscription" can only be renewed Online.

Annual Subscription:

  • If you don't qualify for Costco membership you can still shop online by purchasing the Annual Subscription. Click here for details.

Trade Membership:

  • Created especially for business owners and managers, Costco's Trade Membership lets you purchase products for your business or for resale.

  • Valid at all Costco Locations worldwide

Individual Membership:

  • Costco's premium level of membership. All Executive members enjoy a 2% reward on most purchases.
  • Executive trade members can accumulate a maximum reward of £500 and Executive individuals a maximum of £400 annually.
  • You can also make the most of Executive only coupons and events throughout the year.
  • If you are a current member at Costco Wholesale UK and would like to upgrade, this can be done at your local warehouse at a cost of an additional £34+VAT annually. The upgrade fee will be calculated on a pro rata basis depending on the remaining months on your membership.
  • We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee and will cancel and refund membership fees in full at any time if a member is dissatisfied.

    When to expect a 2% Reward Certificate:

  • The 2% Reward Certificate is mailed with the renewal notice two months prior to the member's annual renewal date. A member must be a paid Executive Member at the time the Reward is issued to receive the certificate. Members who reverse their Executive status will lose all rewards accumulated. Rewards are not prorated. 2% Reward Terms.
