We finally started our search but it didn’t take long when I spotted this beauty. Ordered it on a Sunday and it came just over a week later. Was easy to put together, me plus my mum (to me to you) (sweat, temper raised, dodgy hands, where’s the other bolt turner thing???, let’s stop for a cup of tea) but we had it put together in an hour. I was a menopausal sweaty mess at the end and my poor mum was a nervous wreck! Needless to say when my husband got home from work and finally found me hiding under our new bed with my nerf gun firing sponge bullets from my new fun spot, he was relieved to see it didn’t collapse and I’d obviously put it together well. We have slep in it for over a week now and it’s still sturdy, one nil to wife! Elegant looking bed that’s got enough room to hide under (I’m 45 but never too old to play nerf guns!) very sturdy and I am a very happy lady.

Rated 3 out of 5 by ShirleyLeggit from Beautiful bed, but only for sleeping We bought this bed after revamping our bedroom. It's sturdy and looks amazing, it's really beautiful. But sadly very impractical. Don't think you can sit up and read or watch tv as the headboard spindles pop out. You have to lay flat to enjoy the aesthetics of this bed. This is even after taking care, sitting lower, and with new super thick pillows. Granted, it's only two spindles, but it's spoiled the bed. I'm gutted as it's a really lovely bed frame but just not practical.

I put the bed frame together on my own (first attempt at this sort of thing) and it took me just over the 30 minutes assembly time recommended for 2 people. The frame is sturdy, packaged really well and just as I anticipated. To say I am very pleased is an understatement! I love it and would highly recommend.

Bed looks absolutely great once built, looks sturdy and grand. Would definitely recommend. As stated in previous review, would need pillows at your head/back if sitting up due to style of frame but does work ok with good pillows.

Buying direct was great as we didn't have to worry about getting the item home! Quality of all components is excellent and the step-by-step instructions very easy to follow. We're delighted that the finished assembled bed not only looks great but it lovely and solid too. Great product!!!
