Chambolle-Musigny is one of the most famous villages of the Côte de Nuits and it is a relatively small appellation. It lies just north of Vougeot and south of Morey-Saint-Denis. There are 24 Premier Crus and 2 Grand Crus. Les Feusselottes is situated just beneath the village of Chambolle, with soils made up of chalk, clay and a lot of hard stones from which it derives its name which means ‘little holes.’ The wine is generally deeply coloured with a powerful berry and savoury nose and is delicate but fleshy on the palate with subtle rounded tannins.
