Founded in 1859 by Louis Henry Denis Jadot. The Jadot name has contributed to the renown of the wines of Burgundy by developing sales of wines from the region in the Northern European markets.
The labels of Maison Louis Jadots wine bear the visage of Bacchus the Roman god of wine and have become something of a signature for the wines.
Manually harvested in small batches to preserve the integrity of the grapes and sorted by hand. The wines are aged for around 18 months for a beautiful and complex flavour.
Serve between 16°C – 17°C
Notes of black fruit on the nose leading into a medium bodied palate of black fruits with light touches of mineral and oaky notes.
Pairs well with rich red meats like beef and venison or game bird.
