Cuperly Blanc De Noirs Grand Cru Champagne, 75cl
Item #266050
Cuperly House was founded in 1845, initially located in Mourmelon-le-Petit. In the early 1900's, Robert Cuperly began to acquire and develop a vineyard in Verzy, the flagship of the ''Grand Cru'' of the Montagne de Reims, where he decided to create his own Champagne house. In order to expand production, a new modern building was constructed in Prunay.
The Champagne region counts 319 crus (villages) but only 17 of them are classified as ''Grand Cru''. 10 of the crus are located in the Montagne de Reims including Verzy, Verzenay, Mailly-Champagne and Beaumont sur Vesle, which are the exclusive sources of our 2 premium quality grape varieties, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
Cuperly Blanc De Noirs Grand Cru Champagne offers a rich intense colour with pale amber highlights and 100% Pinot Noir grapes. The aroma of dried fruit and spices fill the senses, along with an exquisite string of slow, graceful bubbles. The blend is aged in oak barrels for 1 year and then followed with 4 to 5 years in bottles. A deliciously great wine - look out for the final notes of thyme and pepper.
