Gran Patrón Platinum Tequila, 70cl

Patrón didn’t invent tequila, they perfected it. Using time tested methods to create the world’s finest tequila at their distillery in Hacienda Patrón. Only high-quality raw ingredients are used to develop deep, complex flavours with zero additives. 

The Weber Blue Agave used to craft Patrón tequila ripens slowly, around every eight years. Using a sharp tool called a coa, skilled jimadors strip away the leaves to reveal the heart of the plant called the piña.

After being hand processed and chopped the piñas are baked in small brick ovens and then crushed by a two-ton volcanic stone wheel. The resulting mixture is fermented for three days and distilled. 

Gran Patrón Platinum is made from the finest 100% Weber Blue Agave and is triple distilled then rested in oak tanks. Presented in a hand-numbered crystal bottle and an elegant case, it is perfect for gifting. 

Tasting Notes:

Crystal clear with aromas of fresh agave, citrus and fruit. Extremely smooth on the palate with light notes of citrus and fruit and a long-lasting black pepper finish.

Serving suggestion: The Baller’s Lemon Drop

• 45 ml Gran Patrón Platinum
• 22.5 ml Fresh lemon juice
• 15 ml Simple syrup
• Lemon wheel
• Sugar rimmed large coupe glass

Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake vigorously.

Strain into large coupe glass that has been rimmed with sugar.

Garnish with a lemon wheel.
