Only the leanest, skinless free range British chicken breasts are used to ensure incredible taste as well as nutritional values too. The curing process involves blending the chicken pieces with a combination of spices, salts and vinegar. This process allows the salt to draw moisture from the surface of the chicken and the flavour from the spices to penetrate the pores of the meat to ensure an in-depth flavour.
Once the chicken breast has been marinated, it’s then dehydrated in a specially designed jerky oven which creates a dry heat enabling moisture to escape the chicken. Once dehydrated, the jerky is sliced into thin slices using state of the art slicers before being sealed for freshness.
