Chivas was started by the two brothers James and John Chivas. After opening a successful emporium in Aberdeen the brothers found success in their new tradition of ageing whiskies beneath their emporium. When their clientele began demanding a smoother, richer whisky experience the brothers delivered and began blending together their aged scotch whiskies.

Chivas XV is aged for 15 years but is ready to be enjoyed by you tonight! Created by Master Blender Sandy Hyslop in 2018 Chivas XV is a celebratory way to enjoy blended Scotch whisky. The long maturation process combines with a selective finish in cognac casks for a truly luxurious whisky.

Tasting Notes:

Serve between 15°C – 18°C

Decadent and sweet on the nose with caramelised apples undercut by a sweet zestiness that combines with spice notes and honey. Smooth and fruity on the palate the sweet caramel flavours flow through on a velvety texture that is rounded out by light vanilla notes on the finish.

30ml Chivas XV
20ml fresh lemon juice
20ml sugar syrup
Champagne to top
Fresh cherry to garnish

- Add all ingredients except champagne into a shaker and with ice and shake vigorously

- Strain into a chilled champagne flute and top with champagne

- Drop a cherry into the glass for garnish and enjoy
