A tribute tequila of astonishing depth, Don Julio® 1942 is presented in an elongated bottle whose design is inspired by the agave leaf. This extraordinary tequila is best appreciated when served neat in a Riedel tequila glass or snifter.

On the nose there are sweet aromas of vanilla and tones of nuts, almonds and chocolate combined with exotic cinnamon and a light essence of oak. Silky on taste, there is smooth character coating the palate with roasted agave flavours, vanilla, sun-ripened tropical fruits and spiced undertones to create a wonderfully unique tequila experience.

This is then finished with a beautiful, sweet agave-laced finish with lingering hints of oak and rich vanilla essence: full-bodied and creamy that result from the distillation, barrelling and ageing process.

This tequila has a minimum of two and a half years in small white American oak barrels. Only the master distiller knows the exact moment when tequila becomes 1942.
