The Chablis vineyards are planted on clay and limestone soil which is rich in minerals and fossilised oyster shells, providing a perfect growing environment for the grapes whilst giving the wine a typical mineral character.

William Fevre is today regarded arguably as one of the very best estates in Chablis. This Premier Cru is a structured, lively and mineral wine which is fresh and has a good length on the palate. This is Chardonnay at its very best.
