In 1890 a group of fearless Spaniards sailed to Manila in the Philippines on their quest to establish the first brewery in South East Asia. The brewery was located in the St Miguel district of Manila and the first brew was created on St Michael’s day. San Miguel became the most fitting name to bestow on the new beer.

The pioneering spirit of the founders meant that the journey continued as San Miguel travelled across Asia and eventually reached Spain in 1954. Tasting Notes

Light gold colour, bright in appearance, and creamy, consistent foam. Delicate aromas of white fruits, banana and apple are noted with a slight nuance of white bread and a florar base. A moderatly bitter beer with a dry base and a balanced finish.

Pairs well with gazpacho, vegetables and grilled fish.
