Throughout the cycle the weather brought good conditions allowing the grapes to become healthy and well balanced. This resulted in the wines having an elegant acidity, with well-balanced, silky tannins, making them ideal for ageing.

Alcoholic fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks, lasting 19 days. After malolactic fermentation, a select number of wines were transferred into 4.5 year American Oak Barrels, where they remained for 3 years, with a traditional racking every six months. The Wine was bottled December 2019.

Tasting Notes

Intense aromas with outstanding notes of red fruit, plums, blackberries and blueberries with subtle hints of pastry, coffee, caramel and vanilla creating a complex bouquet. Fresh, vibrant and well-balanced, with amiable tannins and a long lingering finish.

Pairing Notes

Pairs well with stews, seasoned fish, and desserts with chocolate couverture or red berries.
